The cocaine business in Colombia has been declining.
Cocaine has been a huge part of Colombia or years, but now cocaine countries Peru and Bolivia are surpassing it. With pressure from the US, Colombian officials underwent massive projects to destroy the coca bushes that cover the mountainous regions with police action and herbicides.
This decline in Colombia and rise in Peru and Bolivia is described as the balloon effect: As one part is squeezed and contracted, the other part enlarges.
This cocaine business will continue to be circle around until it is stamped out everywhere at the same time.
