A Grande Prairie man faces trafficking charges after a stash of illegal narcotics, including hundreds of fentanyl pills, was seized from a rural property in the city’s south end.
Following an investigation that began last month, RCMP executed a search warrant on Nov. 23 at a residence in the Countryside South neighbourhood.
During their search of the property, officers seized $9,000 cash, a stolen handgun loaded with ammunition, 56 grams of crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and more than 2,000 fentanyl pills.
