Asian crime gangs are using new methods to smuggle drugs into Australia

Instead of concealing drugs in cargo shipments, smugglers are increasingly using commercial ‘mother ships’ to bring drugs close to the Australian coast line, Australian Border Force Commissioner Roman Quaedvlieg told the Daily Telegraph.

 Smaller ‘daughter ships’ then take over the illegal shipments and bring them onto the continent, the ABF commissioner said.
