RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas — Border Patrol agents prevented more than 2,000 pounds of narcotics from entering the United States this past weekend.
The first bust happened Sunday when agents working near Rio Grande City saw a pickup truck driving away from the river at a high rate. When agents responded to the scene, the driver turned around, sped up and drove into the river.
