Taipei, Jan. 17 (CNA) The Coast Guard Administration (CGA) seized over 150 kilograms of narcotics and many protected turtles, arresting six people, in a raid on a fishing vessel off the coast of Taoyuan Tuesday.
The CGA’s Taipei Reconnaissance Brigade received a tip-off in October last year of a 35-year-old man surnamed Chang (張) who on multiple occasions steered a Hsinchu-registered fishing vessel to waters off Pingtan County, in China’s Fujian Province.
