The police force of the Sistan and Balouchestan province, southeastern Iran, have successfully detained a big drug trafficking group in Mehrestan, confiscating a huge haul of narcotics in an equipped clash.

On Tuesday, Police Chief of Sistan and Balouchestan province Brigadier General Mohammad Ghanbari stated that during a clash that continued for four hours a 6-ton shipment of illegal drugs was confiscated by the police.
