More than a tonne of MDMA powder has been seized by police after it was.disguised as construction glue in a shipping container from South Korea. The seizure is one of the largest in Australian history, and if pressed into pills the 1,053 kilograms of powder could have produced more than three million tablets.
Suspicions around the shipping container were raised when Border Force agentsdetected anomalies within the steel box on January 11.
