Kazakhstanâs National Security Committee (KNB) has seized more than 13 tons of cocaine, marking the largest drug bust in the countryâs history.

According to KNB sources, the massive shipment was intercepted in Almaty and was intended to transit through Kazakhstan en route to other countries. Authorities said the swift actions of security services ensured that the international drug supply channel was immediately blocked.
As part of the investigation, two foreign nationals suspected of orchestrating the trafficking network were detained. They have since been arrested and are awaiting further legal proceedings
