Melbourne man Justin Craig Barnett has been sentenced to 23 years’ jail over a failed attempt to import about $150 million worth of methamphetamine into Australia.

The drugs — concealed in pallets of canola oil — were being shipped from Canada when they were twice intercepted by police.
