Police arrested four suspects linked to a smuggling network moving cocaine from South America.

Authorities seized a total of 863 kilos of cocaine: 463 kilos was found hidden in a refrigerated container with mangoes from Peru in the port of Rotterdam (destined for Moerdijk, used as a decoy address), and another 400 kg was intercepted in the port of Vlissingen.

The operation, following an investigation started six months ago by the Port Police of Zeeland-West-Brabant, targeted a fruit company suspected of providing logistical support for hiding drugs in containers, especially among mango shipments.
