Moroccan police, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), arrested on Thursday evening three individuals on suspicion of trafficking drugs and psychotropic substances in the outskirts of Tangier.

Authorities apprehended the suspects in the act in the rural area of M’dchar Bdrayouine, where police seized a total of 6,976 psychotropic pills of various types, along with doses of cocaine. Police also confiscated cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal activity. In addition, the operation led to the recovery of two bladed weapons, a motorcycle, and a light vehicle reportedly used in the trafficking network.
