USA: $300,000 worth of narcotics seized by Border Patrol

SAN ANTONIO – More than $300,000 worth of Marijuana was confiscated at the World Trade Bridge by the U.S Customs and Border Protection.

CBP said that a tractor trailer containing soap also hid 995 packages of marijuana with a street value of $361,378. The narcotics were seized after a routine inspection at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, TX, Jan. 28.

CBP officers turned the case over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HIS) for further investigation after seizing the narcotics.
