LIBYA đŸ‡±đŸ‡Ÿ (Samnu – Murzuq district) : 3 Nigerians arrested for drug trafficking

The Samnu Police Department in southern Libya has arrested three Nigerians for drug trafficking.

This operation is part of broader security efforts to clamp down on drug-related crimes and cross-border trafficking involving migrants.

The identities of the suspects have not yet been made public. Authorities confirmed that the case has been handed over to the public prosecution for further investigation and legal action.

The statement said. “Samnu Police Dept. arrested 3 #migrants of Nigerian nationality on charges of drug trafficking. The trio were found in possession of quantity of hashish earmarked for sale. The case was referred to public prosecution.”
