Dans son communiqué, la Gendarmerie nationale précise que cette large opération avait débuté à l’été 2024, avec la découverte par la Brigade de Recherches (BR) de Sedan «de l’existence d’une organisation criminelle spécialisée dans l’importation et la distribution d’héroïne depuis les Pays-Bas».

À la suite de leurs investigations, la BR de Sedan, épaulée par la Section de Recherches de Reims, ont pu «identifier la tête de l’organisation, deux mules chargées de transporter le produit ainsi que trois revendeurs».
