LOS ANGELES – The first major narcotics trafficking indictment resulting from an investigation by the Los Angeles Strike Force was unsealed today as authorities arrested seven defendants charged with drug trafficking, money laundering and weapons offenses.

The indictment charges a total of 22 defendants who allegedly were members of a drug trafficking organization linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. The charged defendants allegedly were responsible for the importation of hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin from Mexico into the United States. The narcotics were distributed throughout the country via a network of cartel associates, and the proceeds from the domestic narcotics sales were then funneled back to Mexico, according to the indictment.

The seven defendants arrested today are:

    Julian Rocha, also known as “JRoc,” 33, of Azusa, who is charged with being a Los Angeles-based purchaser of Mexican narcotics;

    Froilan Villarreal, also known as aka “DeL MoNtE,” of Azusa, who allegedly illegally possessed seven firearms when authorities seized large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine from is El Monte residence;

    Oscar Arredondo, 53, of Bakersfield, an alleged drug transporter who was arrested in the Eastern District of California;

    Maria Ernestina Limon Elenes, 64, of Azusa, an alleged facilitator and the mother of lead defendant/fugitive Jeuri Limon Elenes;

    Antonio Orozco, also known as “El Sr.,” 45, of Long Beach, who allegedly transported narcotics across the international border;

    Martin Ruiz Saldana, of Santa Ana, who allegedly received narcotics from Villarreal; and

    Audrey Rose Urrea, of Chula Vista, who allegedly attempted to transport narcotics across the international border and who was arrested this morning in the Southern District of California.

The five defendants arrested today in the Central District of California are being arraigned this afternoon in United States District Court in Los Angeles.
One additional defendant – Fernando Madueno Sanchez – was already in state prison. Prosecutors will seek to transfer him to federal custody to face the charges in the indictment unsealed today.

Depuis le début de l’année 2017, deux adolescents sont morts après avoir pris de la codéine, trois autres ont été gravement intoxiqués. Comme d’autres jeunes de leur âge, ils avaient détourné l’usage de cet anti-douleur à des fins « récréatives ». Une pratique dangereuse qui inquiète jusqu’à l’Agence du médicament interrogée ce vendredi 9 juin dans Le Parisien.

La codéine est un opiacé, une substance dérivée de l’opium. Il fait partie de la même famille que la morphine, sans être aussi puissant.

ROMA – La Direzione centrale per i servizi antidroga ha reso pubblico il suo annuale bilancio che riepiloga lo stato dell’arte della lotta alla diffusione delle sostanze stupefacenti e al traffico nazionale e internazionale di droga e che precisa «l’attività e i risultati conseguiti nella lotta al traffico di sostanze stupefacenti dalle Forze di Polizia, a livello nazionale e internazionale, illustrando contestualmente le prospettive evolutive del fenomeno e le conseguenti strategie di contrasto».

Hier, Franck Mazza, Jean-Luc Tolaini, Hamid El Yamani, Sidi Chard, François Cay et Léonard Franceschi ont été placés en détention provisoire par une magistrate ajaccienne pour trafic de stupéfiants. Tous nient participer à un quelconque trafic. A minima, ils reconnaîtraient une consommation « entre amis », qui évoluent dans le milieu de la nuit. Certains sont gérants d’établissements.

Il a fallu 3 ans d’enquête pour démanteler ce trafic de drogue sur Châteaudun en Eure-et-Loir. Lundi 5 juin 2017, 11 personnes ont été arrêtées pour trafic d’héroïnes et de cannabis. Les arrestations ont été effectuées dans le quartier Beauvoir à Châteaudun.

150 gendarmes ont été mobilisés pour une arrestation simultanée des trafiquants de drogue.

Les gendarmes des Andelys et de Gisors ont arrêté treize personnes soupçonnées d’appartenir à deux réseaux se livrant à un trafic de stupéfiants, à Gisors (Eure).

Trafic de cocaïne: 5 ans de prison ferme pour Jeff « le Malgache »

Ce trafic de cocaïne à destination de l’Ouest de La Réunion a commencé au cours de l’année 2012. Un homme de 52 ans surnommé Jeff « le Malgache » fait venir la drogue depuis le Pérou. Ce dernier s’entoure de plusieurs individus pour organiser la filière dont Péniel Acapandié. L’ancien handballeur, connu de la justice pour des affaires de trafic de drogue et cambriolages, est chargé de trouver des investisseurs.

Police on Wednesday netted three girls in possession of 15-kg contraband opium at Belhiya along the Nepal-India border. In course of security checks, police team found that the girls were hiding the opium in their private parts. The arrested are Bikhmaya Budhamagar, 27, of Ghorahi, Dang, Sakuntala Budhamagar, 21, of Lalmatiya, Dang and Kamana Punmagar, 19, of same place.

Auffällig unauffällig – nach diesem Motto hat eine aus Südamerika kommende Frau versucht, zehn Kilogramm Kokain über den Pudong-Flughafen in Shanghai nach China zu schmuggeln. Die Drogen transportierte sie dabei nicht in kleinen Päckchen versteckt in ihrem Gepäck, sondern mit einer ungewöhnlichen Methode: Ihre Koffer bestanden zu großen Teilen aus Kokain, wie der chinesische Zoll laut « South China Morning Post » mitteilte. Das Rauschgift soll dazu gehärtet und gemeinsam mit anderen Materialien in Form gebracht worden sein.

Banda enviaba cargamentos de droga en avionetas desde la Región Pasco hacia Bolivia. Los sorprendieron cuando trasladaban estupefaciente hasta una pista clandestina, en la provincia de Oxapampa.
Allí fueron capturados Moisés Angona Camacllanqui (48), Clever Bermuda Balcón (29), Edwin Chávez Bermuda (33), Yuri Bermuda Pariona (38), César Augusto Aire Maraví (34) y un menor de edad.
