Iran’s police seized about 700 kilograms of opium from smugglers in the country’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Police forces seized the drugs in an armed clash with smugglers in the city of Iranshahr last night, the province’s police commander, Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi said Oct. 5, Fars news agency reported.

HISTOIRE – Le journaliste Norman Ohler publie un ouvrage consacré à la consommation quotidienne de drogue sous le IIIe Reich. Femmes au foyer, militaires, enfants… la société carburait à la pervitine, l’actuelle métamphétamine.Hitler, un dictateur junkie ?
C’est, en substance (illicite), la thèse développée par Norman Ohler dans L’Extase Totale (ed. La Découverte). Une enquête fondée sur des documents inédits, jetant un regard cru sur une facette méconnue du IIIe Reich : celle d’une société allemande qui carbure à la pervitine (l’ancêtre de l’actuelle métamphétamine) sous le regard d’un « high Hitler » (sic) lui-même dépendant à diverses drogues.
Comment l’Allemagne a-t-elle pu en arriver là ?
Pour Norman Ohler, il s’agit d’un héritage du XIXe siècle : dès 1805, un commis de pharmacie, Friedrich Wilhem Sertürner, parvient à isoler la morphine de l’opium. L’anesthésie et l’analgésie vont ensuite se généraliser, avec la guerre de Sécession puis le conflit franco-allemand en 1870. Côté civil, la morphine est prescrite via un sirop contre… la déprime. Le tournant arrive en 1897 quand Felix Hoffmann, chimiste dans l’entreprise Bayer, découvre un dérivé : l’héroïne. Elle est vite prescrite contre les maux de têtes, les malaises, parfois même pour les enfants. La production devient alors industrielle, surtout après la défaite de 14-18, quand le pays bascule dans une « culture hédoniste ». « En 1928, pour la seule ville de Berlin, ce ne sont pas moins de 73 kg de cocaïne et de morphine qui s’écoulent dans les pharmacies », écrit Norman Ohler.

UNITED NATIONS – Drug overdoses are sweeping the heartland, claiming lives in small towns and cities across America.
Previous drug epidemics were largely confined to inner city ghettos. But this latest plague is taking its heaviest toll in working-class communities that have been drained of jobs by globalist so-called “free trade” policies.
Washington policymakers talk about an opioid epidemic. But it would be more properly termed the new Opium War.
A little history is in order here.
In the 19th century, China racked up a massive trade surplus with the West. Europeans had an insatiable appetite for China’s silk, porcelain and tea. At the same time, China severely restricted imports of foreign-made goods. (Sound familiar?) The trade imbalance greatly benefited the Middle Kingdom.
Britain drained its gold reserves to finance a persistent and growing trade deficit with China. Try as they may, London’s foreign ministers were unable to pry open the China market through diplomatic means.
Then the British East India Company, the steam-punk version of today’s crony capitalist multinational corporation, came up with a brilliant solution.
It would grow opium in India and sell it in China, payment due in bullion. Most everyone was happy with the set up: Local Chinese officials collected bribes from the British suppliers on one side and collected taxes from local drug peddlers and users on the other side.
The British crown saw another enormous benefit aside from money flowing into the treasury: The narcotics trade was sowing social chaos and sapping China’s strength as well as its treasure.
Beijing understood this well and moved to stop the scourge. In a letter to Queen Victoria, the emperor’s drug czar admitted, “If the traffic in opium were not stopped, a few decades from now we shall not only be without soldiers to resist the enemy, but also in want of silver to provide an army.”
China seized the British opium stockpiled in border warehouses. Then it erected a virtual border wall in the form of a naval blockade against British ships to stop the flow of drugs.
History records the British effort to break the blockade and open China to its imports as the Opium Wars.
So what does this have to do with us now?
Today, China is enjoying a massive trade surplus with the United States. It accumulates this through one-way trade: selling vast quantities of manufactured goods to the U.S. while blocking imports of goods from America.
Thanks to open border policies championed by the Clintons, American firms have abandoned their motherland, set up shop in China and export to America that which they used to make in America. We end up sending China our jobs.
Working-class Americans, stripped of their livelihoods and bereft of hope, are turning to drugs that are also pouring across the open border.
The current drug of choice is fentanyl, a cheap synthetic heroin hundreds of times stronger than the real thing. Between late 2013 and late 2014 alone, there were over 700 overdose deaths related to fentanyl in the United States, and that number is likely to be vastly underestimated.
Where is this drug coming from?
The Drug Enforcement Agency reports the drug ravaging America originates in China. The DEA says, “The current fentanyl crisis is fueled by China-sourced fentanyls.” Even when it is Mexican drug cartels pushing this junk, they are getting it from China.
This is the final, cruel twist of fate.
The people who have been devastated by factories moving to China are now being killed by poison coming from China.
We send them our jobs, they send us drugs.
Call it the New Opium War.
Donald Trump vows we will have a border again. We will stop the free flow of people, goods and wealth that is bleeding our nation of our industrial might, our economic strength and literally killing our people.

La base militar de EE.UU, en Kirguistán, probablemente fue utilizada para transportar la heroína de Afganistán dice el expresidente kirguiso, Asghar Aghayev.
« Esta base siempre había servido a su propósito inicial. Para desplegar tropas, carga para abastecer a las fuerzas de la coalición en Afganistán. No sabemos qué cargaba en su camino de vuelta. Probablemente, transportaban heroína (…) podrían haber hecho cualquier cosa en su camino de regreso« , indicó Aghayev el jueves a RIA Novosti.
El expresidente kirguiso señaló que las autoridades que dirigían la base estaban al tanto del tráfico de drogas y que ellas mismas estaban involucradas en el tráfico, ya que según explicó Agayev, era una práctica común de Estados Unidos para compensar los gastos de las operaciones militares.
« Es un hecho ampliamente conocido. En América Latina, por ejemplo, todas sus operaciones (…) Nadie las financia, se reembolsan mediante el tráfico de drogas. ¿Por qué entonces excluir de ello a Afganistán? », dijo.
Dicha base estadounidense fue establecida en diciembre de 2001 para apoyar las operaciones militares en Afganistán. El centro militar debía ser utilizado sólo para fines logísticos en virtud de lo acordado durante la presidencia de Agayev. En junio de 2014, las fuerzas militares de Estados Unidos abandonaron la base.
Aghayev sirvió de primer presidente de Kirguistán en 1990- 2005. Él fue expulsado del poder en 2005 como resultado de la revolución de los tulipanes.
En 2001, Washington y sus aliados invadieron Afganistán como parte de la llamada guerra contra el terrorismo. La ofensiva apartó del poder al grupo extremista Talibán, pero la inseguridad sigue haciendo estragos en todo el territorio.
A principios del pasado mes de julio el portal de noticias estadounidense Veterans Today, informó de que el uranio y el opio son dos recursos que han convertido la provincia afgana de Helmand en destino de ensueño para los estadounidenses y británicos.

TEHRAN – Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has censured insecurities across eastern borders albeit strong measures taken by Iran to ensure stability.
“Across eastern borders we are facing instabilities. Afghanistan and Pakistan have insecure borders although our forces have taken measures to soothe the concerns,” he said on a live TV program aired on Tuesday night.
Previously, Qassem Rezaei, the commander of Iran’s border police, had said drugs seizures had decreased along Iran’s borders with Afghanistan but increased near the Pakistani border.
The threats Iran is grappling with across its eastern borders in terms of drug smuggling, among others, are costing the country heavily.
Only from 2013 to 2015 has the country seized upwards of 1748 tons of opium and arrested 922,000 people in connection with drug smuggling, including some drug lords.
“Over the time span from 2013 to 2015, our forces had 67,000 clashes with drug smugglers where we managed to seize 1748 tons of opium,” according to the Rahmani Fazli, who also acts as the secretary general of Iran’s Drugs Control Headquarters.

I am sitting in the corner of a tent with a group of nomadic people in the dusty highlands of southern Iran and the old men start smoking opium. A man with thick, white hair taps out the charcoal-like remains from a long, ornate pipe and starts compacting the substance together. Meanwhile, he heats a hot poker against the open flame of a gas cooker. When he has pressed the substance into a black button the size of his thumbprint, he applies a hot poker and the black button smokes softly. An alluring, sweet smell fills the room. He sucks up the smoke through a straw and his eyes glaze and shut a little as he enters a dreamy state.
Seeing men handle opium with such nonchalance shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, we are a short distance from the world’s principal area of opium production: the mountainous border areas of Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, known as the Golden Crescent. Ali tells me the men purchase their opium from Afghanistan for $4 per five grams. According to the United Nations, Afghanistan accounts for an estimated 85 percent of the world’s opium production, most of which is trafficked through Iran, the main transit point connecting Afghanistan and Pakistan to Europe. However, much of the opium trafficked into Iran never reaches Europe but is consumed domestically. According to Amnesty International, Iran is becoming a source country for, “the clandestine manufacture of methamphetamine, some of which is consumed domestically, but increasing amounts are trafficked to Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries in Asia.”

Les affaires de l’Etat islamique se portent bien, même loin de son fief syrien. Selon le New York Times, l’acheminement du cannabis marocain vers l’Europe a changé de route.
Auparavant, la drogue arrivait par petites quantités via l’Espagne.
Mais en 2013, les garde-côtes italien ont intercepté un navire rempli d’une quantité phénoménale de haschich : près de 15 tonnes ! Pendant plus de 2 ans, les prises sont régulières au large de la botte, signe que l’acheminement passe désormais par la Libye, devenu un Etat aux mains de groupes concurrents.
Depuis 2016, plus aucune prise, notamment parce que les renseignements français, qui fournissaient l’Italie en tuyaux ont dû se recentrer sur leur propre sécurité. Rien ne dit que la route n’est plus utilisée ou si les trafiquants préfèrent passer par les Balkans. Une chose est sûre, la drogue va jusqu’en Libye et il semble que les groupes présents, dont l’Etat islamique profitent de la manne.
Les enquêteurs pensent que djihadistes perçoivent une « taxe » sur la drogue en transit comme c’est le cas en Syrie et en Irak.

Depuis longtemps, l’Office central pour la répression du trafic illicite des stupéfiants (Ocrtis) a régné sans partage sur le terrain de la lutte antidrogue, pourtant sans réellement utiliser la totalité des infos qu’il récupérait systématiquement de la part de l’ensemble des régaliennes (Douane, Dnred, PJ, 36, Gendarmerie et les militaires affectés sporadiquement à cette lutte!).
L’OCRTIS en vrille engagée
Depuis quelques mois, sa renommée a pris un coup dans l’aile. En cause: la ‘découverte’ de la façon trouble dont l’Ocrtis gère ses informateurs. En octobre 2015, la saisie de 7 tonnes de cannabis par la DNRED, en plein Paris, a provoqué la chute de son directeur, François Thierry, soupçonné d’avoir eu comme informateur – et ainsi de l’avoir protégé…le très controversé Sofiane Hambli, qui s’il était ‘indic’, était donc avant tout un narcotrafiquant.
Inutile de chercher des tonnes d’explication dans cette affaire où la soif de réussite, le besoin de démontrer qu’on est le meilleur et surtout l’envie de continuer à faire la une des journaux en compagnie de ministricules, eux-mêmes en quête de notoriété, prennent le pas sur toute autre considération.
Le Monde qui ressort un article ce jour que je n’ai pu lire en entier n’étant pas abonné nous reservira encore et toujours la même ritournelle avec son flot de questions sans réponses, de suppositions et déductions parfois douteuses et qui ne peuvent être émises que par des gens qui n’ont jamais pénétré ce côté obscur de notre société que par la lecture en diagonale de milliers de pages de procédure aimablement mises à disposition !
Fasse qu’un jour une réelle volonté politique se dégage et fédère tous nos services pour qu’enfin solution soit trouvée pour éviter toutes les dérives auquelles nous assistons impuissants et qui ne vont pas dans le sens de l’efficacité indispensable pour obtenir les résultats que toutes les régaliennes doivent aux contribuables français.

GUWAHATI: A self-styled ‘captain’ of NSCN-K, who was nabbed by the Assam Police from a rented house in the city here early on Tuesday morning, has revealed how most of the Indian rebel outfits based in Myanmar, barring the anti-talks Ulfa (I), have taken to opium cultivation as a source of income in one of Asia’s biggest opium producing areas known as the Golden Triangle, spread over Myanmar, Laos and Thailand.

GUJRANWALA: The CIA Police claimed to have seized 80 kg of opium and Charas from a car and arrested seven persons including three women.
The car was intercepted at GT Road near flyover Gujranwala here on Saturday.
According to police, acting on a tip-off CIA DSP Imran Abbas Chadhar along with his team set up a check-point on GT Road.
During snap-checking, the team stopped a car and upon search, recovered opium and Charas, weighing 80 kg from hidden compartments made in the car.
