Federal agents today raided several homes in Homestead and Lawrenceville as part of a wiretap investigation of Raymond Kober and several associates who belong to a motorcycle club accused of large-scale cocaine trafficking, distributing prescription pills, laundering money, robbery and illegally transferring guns.

Criminal complaints filed in U.S. District Court identify Kober, of 38th Street in Lawrenceville, as the ringleader and his cohorts as Scott Kulikowski, Christopher Levy and Jason Godek.

Kober, Kulikowski and Levy, all reputed members of a motorcycle club calling itself « The Law, » are in custody. Godek has not been captured.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the IRS and other agencies executed a series of search warrants in this morning and seized guns and drugs.

At Kober’s house they said they also found « 99 growing marijuana plants. »

In court records, agents said Kober and the others « have been implicated in a number of prior law enforcement operations and as of yet, their illegal activities have not ceased. »

Agents said Kober has been a drug dealer for years. The case began in June when DEA developed a source to make controlled buys from Kober, leading to a series of wiretaps on the gang’s phones in July.
