ST. LOUIS – U.S. District Judge Catherine D. Perry sentenced Armond Calvin to 240 months in prison today for one count of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and one count of using a firearm to commit murder in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Calvin, 22, of St. Louis City, previously pleaded guilty on October 5, 2020.

LAREDO, Texas – Two South Texas men have admitted they organized the smuggling of approximately 170 kilograms of marijuana from El Cenizo to Laredo, announced Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Steven S. Whipple and U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick.
Roberto Chavarria, 38, pleaded guilty today, while his brother – Daniel Chavarria, 35, entered his plea Dec. 1, 2020. The El Cenizo men admitted to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.

ST. LOUIS – U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White sentenced Robert Hill to 25 years in prison today for drug distribution and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
A jury had convicted Hill on Sept. 16, 2020 of one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm .
